Major Nesting Mode

Well since last week my doctor gave us the news that I was 1cm dilated and it could be any time, this put at least one of us is in major nesting mode this past weekend and it was not me! It was my darling husband. His last project was setting up and reinforcing Finn's crib and boy was he excited. He had planned this "project" for several weeks prior to his trip to Austin because he was going to be able to get his Home Depot fix and come back with a few power tools! Not sure if he was more excited about fixing the crib or buying the power tools to begin with. Okay - that is a trick question - he was excited about both!

After spending the day putting the crib together we then moved on to cleaning out closets, rearranging furniture, organizing his office space and doing more laundry we were pooped! Will was hoping for a nice birthday present on Sunday in the form of Finn's delivery, but thank goodness I got him a back-up gift because Finn decided to wait a bit longer.

So after some disappointing news on Monday that I am STILL 1cm, we figured that he is not coming any earlier than his due date - why I thought otherwise is beyond me. So since there are no bumpy gravel roads to drive on and dare I take a bicycle for a spin in this crazy town, I'm left with walking around town and my maternity naps. On the bright side - there is a full moon on Sunday! :)

I am so excited for you! Can you find yourself some greasy, pepperoni pizza? It seemed to get Samantha outta there for me. :)

I can't wait to hear the good news! Oh, and the pregnancy pictures are adorable.

Oh I've thought about all those wives tales and finally after 9 months pizza is starting to sound good again, but I don't know if the heartburn/reflux is worth it ... same goes for the yucky side effects of the dreaded castor oil. However, never say never and may reconsider if he doesn't show up by sometime next week! :)

I thought for sure you had him yesterday when Mom and Dad wouldn't answer call waiting.

(At least it is a step up from getting a busy signal. When was the last time you heard a busy signal vs. voicemail.. I think the telephone company took away the busy signal from Mom and Dad, since they were the last people on the planet with that feature!)

No suggestions...since I really didn't do anything special to get my ladies out early. I will say, that was the last time they were early to anything!

Had a naturopath look into the best remedies to speed babes up.
Sure enough, good ole castor oil does the drink w/in 24 hrs. with the best success rate. :)
It used to be 2 KFC regular formula breasts, but they changed the formula. Probably worked on that whole grease thing. Sure will clean you out I hear... :)

Hi Momma to be~
I heard that having "you know what" will help speed up the process. Try it out and let me know! Thinking of you!!! Love you!

Hi Tracy, Hi Will: We understand it must be these days or it has indeed already happened.

Will:
Please make sure your car is full of gas! Do not read the map, please use the navigation system. I wonder where your baby will be born if your little family has to rely on your sense of direction to find the hospital.

Tracy:
If you can't wait to get your baby, walk up and down the stairs and clean the windows. That's an advise from my polish mother in law. If you already have your baby, we hope you and the little one are doing fine. Let Will prepare breakfast! Young fathers are in fact at the disposal of young mothers, you should really enjoy that.

The best advise we can give you is to listen to all advise you get but remain strong enough to reject all of them. We keep fingers cross for all of you!

Kasia, Friedrich and Klara (your future exchange student)!
